Housed in the beautiful Victorian North Road railway station Head of Steam offers a unique setting for your special day.
Built in 1842 and designed by Stockton and Darlington architect John Harris, the station houses some of the region’s most famous locomotives, including Locomotion No 1 and Derwent.
Suitable for intimate ceremonies the museum can offer four locations within the building for your ceremony, including the platforms, the external plaza and the conference room.
With our atmospheric Booking Office and luggage lined platforms there will be plenty of opportunities to take some memorable photographs of your special day.
