About Glendower Hotel

Searching for a wedding venue in Lytham St Annes? You can't go far wrong with the Glendower Hotel, a contemporary space set within the area's rugged natural beauty. Close to the promenade, your wedding photographer will thank you for the breadth of stunning scenery, and situated close to Blackpool airport, it's also ideal for guests coming from across the country. 

Choose between two gorgeous events suites; starting with the smaller, The Lowther Room. Huge windows and wall panelling give this space a sophisticated feel, while modern decor like mirrored cabinets, swish lamps and a cool, teal colour scheme keep the space contemporary and fresh. Here, you can host up to 40 people for both the ceremony and a seated wedding breakfast. 

Planning a larger soiree? The Georgian Suite looks like something out of a fairytale with a billowing canopy ceiling and glittering fairylights. Up to 145 guests can be present for the ceremony, while that number can be increased to 200 for the evening's events, including the seated wedding breakfast, followed by drinks and dancing. 

To make planning your special day super simple, the experienced team have put together two package options. While one offers crowd pleasing details like Bucks Fizz for welcome drinks and fish and chip cones for a late night snack, the other gives you the choice of upgrading to a glass of Prosecco and even a chef's choice finger buffet - it's totally up to you.

Rest assured, all of the essentials (and more) are included as standard, such as chair covers and sashes, cake stand and ornate knife, glass of fizz for the toasts and a complimentary sea view room for the happy couple. All catering is provided in house and on the website you'll find some sample menus to help you begin choosing. From glazed belly pork starters to roasted seabass mains, it all sounds delicious.

We got married at the Glendower  and it was honestly the BEST day ever! The room was absolutely beautiful and the entire process was incredible. Everyone from start to finish went above and beyond to make our wedding day as special and memorable as it could be. Everything was so personal and every single time we spoke to any of the staff they were always smiling, excited and we always had such a good laugh! The food at the Glendower was AMAZING! The chefs presented the meals perfectly and made the changes that we needed and added on food that we requested. I just cannot recommend the Glendower enough to everyone!
