Located on the outskirts of Enfield, Forty Hall is a Grade I-listed manor house providing a unique location for the wedding day of your dreams. The hall can be found at the top of Forty Hill, on the same grounds as the former Tudor Elsyng Palace site. Built in the 1630s by then Mayor of London Sir Nicholas Raynton, the grounds of the estate stretch over 260 acres, providing a peaceful picturesque background to any special day. It’s also just minutes from the M25 and London rail links - though you wouldn’t know it.
The Main Hall and Garden room can accommodate up to 180 guests in spacious interiors with plenty of natural light, high ceilings and historical features to add a sense of awe and make your wedding truly unforgettable. The Banqueting Suite can seat 180 of your nearest and dearest for a sit-down meal and is easily adapted to accommodate 250 for a standing event. If your wedding mood board includes an outdoor component, Forty Hall permits marquees and gazebos on the lawn so you can enjoy some sunshine with your Champagne.
A skilled team of in-house caterers are adept at catering to a manner of event requirements, including - but not limited to - canapes, three-course meals, and street food stations. Forty Hall makes one guarantee: mouthwatering, seasonal and locally sourced food. And if you’re looking to bring your own caterer in on the action, you are more than welcome to do so.
Every couple is different, so every wedding event should be too. This is well understood by the wedding planning team who bring their passion to every minute detail and employ a wealth of knowledge and connections with local suppliers in addition to house packages to maximise the wow factor of your event.
