Although a school may not necessarily seem like the most obvious choice for a wedding, Epsom College is steeped in so much history that it makes it a truly special place to celebrate your wedding. Set in 85 acres beautiful grounds which can provide a stunning backdrop to photos of the day, Epsom College is also incredibly conveniently located just 15 miles from Central London.
The Victorian buildings are full of charm whilst also being equipped with everything you might need, meaning that weddings at Epsom College can be adapted to suit your exact needs. Depending on whether you simply want to use the college for your reception having been married at one of the many nearby churches, or whether you also want to hold the ceremony at Epsom, there are rooms to suit every requirement.
The main college hall is licensed for civil ceremonies, and with its wonderful stained glass windows and high Victorian ceiling it certainly won’t fail to impress. When it comes to receptions, during the warmer months there is the option to have drinks and canapes outside on the main lawn, with plenty of luscious trees on every side. Alternatively you can have a marquee put up on the lawn for a traditional outdoors reception, and then you have the bonus of also being able to use it for a wedding breakfast.
Inside the College there are plenty of wooden-panelled halls and smaller rooms where round tables can be assembled for sit down dinners, and the smaller rooms can be used for a drinks reception beforehand. When it comes to catering, Epsom College are incredibly flexible allowing you to decide exactly what company or type of catering you would like, and bring them into the venue. This means that every wedding at Epsom is entirely different and unique to you.
