Located between the Cotswolds and Bristol, Elmore Court is a 750-year-old Grade II listed stately home and wedding venue. There is perhaps no wedding venue more memorable than the sprawling stately home of Elmore Court. This grand house could be exclusively yours to celebrate your vows in surroundings that are like something out of a fairytale. The estate and grounds provide ample photo opportunities in the form of ancient woodland, manicured lawns, and flower gardens so pristine you can easily imagine yourself at the heart of a period drama.
Say ‘I do’ in The Hall with a mullioned stained-glass window illuminating the room in a spectacular array of colours. Or, if you fancy a more traditional ceremony, you can make your vows less than a mile away in the 13th-century Elmore Church before coming to the grounds to celebrate at the house and The Gillyflower.
The Gillyflower is a ballroom marquee built sustainably with rammed earth techniques using materials from the estate. It’s also soundproof, so you can let your hair down without bothering the neighbours or the wildlife. It accommodates both small and large events from 60 to over 200 guests. Equipped with adjustable LED light systems and powerful sound engineering, Elmore Court is a state-of-the-art wedding reception venue where the ambience is yours to curate.
The food and drinks team provide the necessary flexibility for a bespoke day. Working with the grounds gardeners and local suppliers all ingredients are as fresh as could be. The bar team is similarly flexible and more than happy to order in your preferred tipple or make theatrical cocktails. Following the true concept that good food requires great wine, Elmore Court has extensive cellars with a wide variety able to cater to all tastes and budgets at reasonable market prices.
