The Courtyard Suites are the function rooms at Conference Aston Hotel, which is located at Aston University in Birmingham city centre. The rooms can host everything from corporate conferences to birthday parties to weddings.
Weddings form a key part of the space’s special occasion offering. Guests are treated to a spacious restaurant filled with natural light and overlooking the courtyard. The maximum capacity is 350 and the space can easily be transformed to match your desired theme and colour schemes. Once the breakfast is complete, guests can then move into the bar area to complete the day. This has ample room for a band or DJ, as well as a late night buffet and even a hog roast.
The courtyard provides an oasis of calm in the otherwise hectic city centre. As a result, it is the perfect backdrop for wedding photos, whether that’s in front of the majestic water fountain, nestled away in the intimate library green or in front of the imposing lake. All weddings are planned alongside a member of the venue’s dedicated events team.
Courtyard Suites also hosts business meetings, conferences and other corporate events. These are housed in one of the 19 available rooms and there’s also a 222 capacity theatre, perfect for large gatherings or presentations. Buffet lunches can also be included in room or theatre hire.
Due to the conference centre’s 163 hotel bedrooms, it can also cater for residential meetings, taking even more advantage of its central Birmingham location. Overnight stays include access to a gym, restaurant and lounge, and the Courtyard Suites are just a 25 minute drive from Birmingham International Airport and 10 minutes walk from the city’s major train stations. The Courtyard Restaurant serves a range of classic dishes, including fish and chips, pasta primavera, and a minted lamb burger.
