Courteenhall Estate is a beautiful space that is totally secluded, private, and centred around a late 18th century hall. The hall is surrounded by 100 acres of incredible parkland with far reaching views of the arboretum and a church. The estate is located in South Northamptonshire, and so is in a great location for those who are travelling to your big day. The Wake family has been in South Northamptonshire since the thirteenth century, and the original manor house was built in 1572, before it was pulled down and replaced in 1792. The house is surrounded by a landscaped parkland that has a range of stunningly wonderful old trees and wildlife.
Making your way to your wedding venue, you will drive up the sweeping, tree lined driveway which is totally magical. Courteenhall offers a selection of dates each year for private wedding celebrations, but it doesn't put on a huge amount, so that it can remain special, untouched and hidden away, for both the family and its guests. When it comes to catering, the team knows that everyone is different, so you will have a chance to speak to the catering suppliers and discuss your particular visions. For your ceremony, you can use Courteenhall Church which is just a few minutes away, or you can host a humanist, non-religious ceremony on the estate.
If your wedding isn't going to be a big one, you can say your vows inside the hall. A beautiful space that retains much of its original features and provides stunning entertaining spaces, the inside of the hall is a charming backdrop for your big day – just imagine the absolutely gorgeous photos.
