If you're the kind of London couple who keep your finger on the pulse, choosing Battersea Power Station as your wedding venue is a no brainer.
After years of development, this area is now one of South London's buzziest spots and at its heart, is the design-led art'otel. Spanning a breadth of swanky bedrooms and suites, a fashionable lobby with art from the hotel's Signature Artist, Jaime Hayon, and a selection of sky-high restaurants and a rooftop bar, the art'otel is an innovative hub of creativity and style, with killer views, too.
For your wedding day, the team is on hand to ensure that everything goes perfectly to plan, offering the stunning JOIA Restaurant as a backdrop for your reception. Situated on the 15th floor, its floor-to-ceiling windows show off a jaw-dropping view of London's skyline, juxtaposed with soft, feminine hues and a pretty design. Think clusters of pale pink armchairs, coral, curved rugs and dangling, metallic installations overhead for a unique decor scheme that will wow guests.
JOIA is managed by esteemed chef Henrique Sa´ Pessoa, who has two Michelin stars under his belt. Here, he brings his flair and talent to his native cuisine from the Portuguese Iberian Peninsula. From the menu, expect authentic flavours and traditional cooking methods, brought together with British-sourced, seasonal produce of the highest quality.
In terms of creating food and drinks packages for your special event, the team are happy to discuss your needs and come up with something bespoke to accommodate you. When it comes to capacity, the bar on the 14th floor has the space to host up to 140 standing and 81 seated guests, while the restaurant has space to host 185 standing guests and 87 seated. And, if the weather plays ball, the rooftop can host 250 standing guests, which when combined with the other two areas comes to an overall capacity of 350.
