Built in the 19th Century, the Grade II listed gothic chapel is an example of some of the finest Victorian gothic architecture in the area, with some calling it Eastbourne's very own St Pancras. It’s fully licensed for civil partnerships, events and functions while the building itself is divided into four parts: the Entrance, Harriot’s Hallway, Stairwell and The Great Hall.
The entrance is a light and airy space where post ceremony drinks and canapes are hosted, while Harriot’s Hallway is decorated with strings of twinkling fairy for the bride and her bridesmaids to use before their grand entrance. The Stairwell, meanwhile, holds two tables at the base of the iron staircase which are free for you to personalise as you want – adorn with photos, confetti, doughnuts, guest books – whatever you like.
Finally, The Great Hall is where the magic happens (accessible from the Stairwell) featuring a 60-foot aisle, 150-year-old floor tiles and an elegant bar that boasts 25 different gins. The venue seats 120 people, with a dancefloor and coloured lighting to transform the gothic venue into a place to dance the night away.
