World-renowned Sadler’s Wells may be best known as a dance and performance space, but it’s also a very capable events venue. Across its portfolio of spaces, Sadler’s Wells can host between 12-1,500 guests and is best suited to conferences, corporate functions, workshops and performances.
There are a variety of events spaces to choose from at the venue, with natural daylight, integrated AV equipment with on-site technical staff, air conditioning and complimentary Wi-Fi all coming as standard. Furthermore, Sadler’s Wells has its own dedicated events team to ensure your day runs smoothly, while in-house caterers can provide a range of fresh and seasonally inspired menus for all manner of occasions.
The auditorium, which can accommodate 1,500 people in a theatre-style set up, is a fantastic conference space with high-tech lighting and sound equipment, while The Peacock (with a capacity of 1,000) is well matched to large-scale award ceremonies or musical gigs. Lilian Baylis Studio meanwhile, can comfortably seat 180 guests in a theatre set up and is a viable setting for seminars and conferences, as well as performances or screenings.
If you’re looking for more conventional boardroom space, check out the Sackler and Crippler Rooms or The Khan, both of which are well suited to traditional meeting set ups and come with all of the necessary equipment for presentations and the like.
The plethora of events spaces at Sadler’s Wells also encompasses rooms for corporate dinners and celebration meals. The Rosebery Room features a glass wall on one side which allows for plenty of natural light, while the light and airy Mezzanine is great for two-factor events where a standing drinks reception is followed by a sit-down meal.
It is also worth taking note of Sadler’s Wells two circle bars, which are both available to hire. Located in the Front of House atrium, these bar areas are great as break out spaces for meetings or conferences, while they can also stand as an event space in their own right, suited to networking lunches and standing receptions.
