Located on the fifth floor of Harvey Nichols in Knightsbridge, Zelman Meats is a steakhouse serving a variety of meats and cuts from across the globe. Founded by Misha Zelman, this innovative spot has grand aims to 'make it accessible for a new generation of beef eaters to go to a modern steakhouse'. The setting is undeniably stylish with chalk specials boards, eclectic tiles and red booth seating, creating a vibrant yet relaxed ambience great for meals with friends, family and loved ones.
On the menu at this meat lovers paradise is a large selection of cuts, all of which are cooked over open flames for a distinct smoky flavour. Starters include short rib and hummus served with a harissa dressing and crispy chickpeas on a grilled flatbread, seared scallops in the shell with smoked paprika, chipotle and lime butter, and burrata with black olive tapenade and salsa rosso crudo.
For the main event, diners can choose from a selection of steaks sourced from across the globe; think Canadian Angus Aberdeen, shortribs from Denmark, and F1 Wagyu ribeye from Australia. There is also a selection of larger cuts - from porterhouse to John Stone ribeye - which are great for sharing with a friend. If the choice is too much, opt for the Zelman plate and enjoy a selection of meats to share, as well as one side each like creamed spinach, triple cooked chips or portobello mushrooms with herb butter.
On the drinks side of things, there are several signature cocktails which offer an exciting take on classic favourites such as the Smoky Margarita, a concoction of Corazon Blanco tequila, quiriquiri mezcal, agave, lime, apple and a spicy rib rub. A concise wine list has all you need, including wines by the glass and more premium bottles.
