Step on board the painstakingly restored, 50ft Liverpool canal boat, Disco Volante (privately moored in the lea of St Pancras International), for a leisurely 90-minute glide along Regent’s Canal. The drinks list on this floating cocktail bar is big on ideas inspired by captain/owner William Borrell's other baby, Vestal vodka – a boutique brand whose three distinct distillations are derived from potatoes grown on the family farm in Poland. Two cocktails such as Polish Amberssador (a chilli and cinnamon-infused Campari and kaffir-leaf vodkatini) are included in the £25pp cost, with additional mixes priced at £8; beers, wines and Champagnes will be showcased on selected trips. Jolly Rogers and their shipmates can carry on cruising until the end of September; sailings are twice daily (four times at weekends). Only 10 passengers can be accommodated per voyage, so pre-booking is essential.
