Turtle Bay Winchester brings a healthy dose of Caribbean energy to the centre of the city, dishing out vibrant food and drinks throughout the day. Positioned right in the heart of the city as well as next to The Great Hall, this is the perfect location to enjoy a vibrant breakfast or lunch or to come for drinks and food in the evening with friends or family. The space has plenty of outside seating and a polished glass front whilst the interior is full of multi coloured furniture and eclectic wall art, surrounding a comfortingly loud bar and an open faced kitchen, the place has an undeniably fun atmosphere.

Breakfast offerings from the all day food menu include classic choices like smashed avocado and poached eggs alongside more unique items like the honey bunny yardbird - a Caribbean answer to the more American style fried chicken and waffles. The main menu contains some characterful Caribbean inspired food: the soul food selection includes things like curry goat hash, the jerk pit offers things like jerk chicken and jerk salmon and a list of West Indian curries features things like Trini curry chicken. On top of this there are some comforting classics like burgers and buddha bowls as well as roti wraps which can be filled with things such as shredded jerk chicken. All of this can be paired with decadent sides like cheesy jerk fries and small plates which double up as starters and perfect nibbles to go with drinks.

The drinks list has on it a selection of beers, wines and soft drinks but focuses primarily on a list of both cocktails and rums, the latter of which can be enjoyed with selected mixers or even neat should you dare. The cocktail list features classics such as Mojitos, as well as some more unique concoctions to try, all of which taste somehow better during the daily happy hours and the daily bottomless brunch offering.
