Trevibban Mill is a family run vineyard and events space located in Padstow, located not too far away from the town centre. Engin and Liz Mumcuoglu opened the vineyard in 2008 with a mission of creating the very best sparkling and still wines on the Cornish coast. Something rather unique, is that every step of the process – from fruit production and making to bottling and labelling, is done on site. The team are constantly looking to produce higher quality wines, with two options already containing no added sulphites, and aims to further the range.
If you enjoy taking in all that the British landscape has to offer, why not pay a visit to Trevibban Mill and enjoy a tasting session. Start with cocktails such as the Pink Lemon Spritz made with the vineyard's very own sparkling cider, or a local Padstow Pilsner. Bar snacks include local artisan bread boards with themptation pesto or Cornish butter, and smoked Catalan almonds.
If you're looking to share amongst your fellow guests, try the mixed charcuterie board with hand carved jamon, salami and soppressata. The mixed Cornish cheese board contains three local cheeses with crackers and bread, whilst the grazing board has a mix of cheese, jamon, hummus, bread, crackers and a pot of olives.
Wine tasting could not be easier here, with the option of either the Trevibban Mill wine tasting or cider tasting set, containing five still and sparkling wine varieties, or one full size and four 40ml variants of still and sparkling cider. Last but not least, don’t skip the desserts, with a unique offering of applegato, the vineyard's take on an affogato made with clotted cream ice cream and dessert apple wine.
