Built in 1781, this traditional Taylor Walker pub in Mortlake is famous for its location right by the finishing line of the Oxford-Cambridge boat race. Set back off the river behind the Budweiser Brewery, the open fire, wooden floors and beer garden are characteristic of a typical English boozer and the food follows suit. Expect the usual pub line-up: rump steak, burgers, fish and chips, and venison pie, alongside a good selection of ale, lager and wine.
