About
One the primary view points for the Oxford-Cambridge boat race, The Rutland is a Taylor Walker outpost perched on the bank of the River Thames near Hammersmith Bridge. A self-ascribed ‘quintessentially English pub’ the menu of fish and chips, pie and mash, and burgers isn’t surprising and it is reasonably priced. It has a varied selection of real ale, including their own new 1730 special pale ale and an extensive wine list. If you’re after a proper pub, The Rutland won’t disappoint.
