The Plumicorn in Consall, Staffodshhire is a large contemporary restaurant located in the elegant Tawny Hotel. Serving lunch and dinner for both guests and non-guests of the hotel, The Plumicorn is a light and airy looking restaurant with a modern interior, split over two levels there is also a chef’s table and a private dining space.
If you’re visiting The Plumicorn for dinner you will find a seasonal a la carte menu which features many locally sourced ingredients and produce. There is also a bar menu. Perhaps you will start things off with The Plumicorn cured mackerel served with cucumber, gherkin and dill, or the Yellowfin tuna tartare served with confit egg yolk. Main courses may include the miso wild salmon served with a wasabi emulsion and charred spring onion, or the Dunwood Farm Staffordshire lamb derived with potatoes, samphire,gremolata and salsa verde. If you’re looking for meat free dishes perhaps you’ll go for the confit celeriac served with pickled apple, apple gel, chive oil and sherry vinegar.
There are plenty of sides to choose from including buttered new potatoes, heritage carrots and charred leeks.

The Plumicorn bar menu is a little more relaxed, with a selection of pizzas made from the pizza oven, plus flatbreads, tapas and cocktails.
