The Pink & Lily, Pink Road, Lacey Green HP27 0RJ
Owned by a local family, managed by local company Oak Taverns and with a wide choice of local beer, as well as serving locally-sourced food wherever possible, it’s fair to say that after an extensive refurbishment 18 months ago, The Pink has gone back to its roots as a friendly, quality local pub: muddy boots, muddy families and muddy (well-behaved!) dogs welcome!
Set in the charming Chilterns, in perfect walking countryside, The Pink offers all the character of the original 300-year-old building, where First World War poet Rupert Brooke was a well-known regular.
In the extensive garden you’ll find heated dining, an adventurous children’s play area and a barbecue for those lazy summer weekends; plus two garden ‘pods’ providing a separate indoor/outdoor ‘dining room’ and seating up to six people each.
