Nestled between Canada Water and Surrey Quays, The Pacific Tavern is a neighbourhood pub serving small plates and grilled meats alongside a selection of Pacific-inspired cocktails as well as beer and wines.
The venue is spacious with wood paneling and a deep teal colour palette giving the space a modern and cozy feel. There is also an outdoor terrace with overheard fairy lights that make it atmospheric at night. With large screens the space is perfect for watching the big matches and they also often have regular live music events that entertain guests whilst they enjoy their meal.
The Pacific Tavern serves breakfast daily until midday and guests can expect their morning favorites served with inventive and fun twists. This includes coconut porridge, chorizo with sweet corn esquites, citris, fried eggs and toast as well as a bacon and egg pie. The main menu kicks off with small plates like squid in ponzu sauce, lamb sausage with yogurt and tomato herbs and seabream crudo with coconut, corn and lime. Dishes like grilled chicken, dry aged sirloin, sea bream or even sweet potato as a vegetarian option are then served alongside sides like kimchi slaw and corn on the cob. They also do a Sunday Roast which features Pacific flavours with sesame goma and mole rojo served alongside featuring BBQ pork and seabream, grilled chicken and dry aged sirloin. There are also plant-based options as part of this menu with fired cauliflower and hispi cabbage on offer.
For those who fancy something sweet after their meal indulgent and interesting desserts like grilled banana cake and baked cheesecake are on offer. The drinks menu features an extensive list of fun and inventive tasty cocktails like their hibiscus margarita, pandan negroni and banana old fashioned. There are also mocktails on offer like their non-alcoholic Hugo Spritz. There is a wide range of beers on offer as well as a concise wine list that features both orange and sparkling wines.
