The March Hare, Guildford is a family friendly, welcoming pub and brasserie serving a seasonal a la carte menu of French and British inspired dishes. The seasonal a la carte menu features plenty of classic dishes inspired by French and British cuisine, with starters such as chicken liver parfait served with onion marmalade and toasted brioche, and hot smoked salmon served with chilli and ginger. Main courses are seasonal and may include dishes such as pan-fried stone bass served with butter beans and chorizo, and confit Barbary duck leg served with slow cooked carrots, green beans and Dauphinoise potatoes. Other favourites include a Cornish beef burger with all the trimmings, steak frites, and a vegetarian mezze platter.
The desserts cover all the classic favourites such as sticky toffee pudding and rhubarb crumble, they also have a choice of ice cream, sorbet, and a selection of French and British cheeses.
If you’re visiting The March Hare for a traditional Sunday roast, you will find options such as roast Cornish beef and Yorkshire pudding, and roast sirloin of outdoor reared pork served with apple fritter and green apple sauce. All roasts come with cauliflower cheese, seasonal veg, bottomless rich gravy, roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings.
