Set among the gorgeous Georgian terraces and tree-lined streets of Camberwell Grove, this is one of the more relaxed and breezy outlets of the Young's chain, with plenty of outdoor seating on picnic benches. Inside, the place has its own character and style, although you can expect signature details including vintage wallpaper, mirrors, leather sofas and assorted knick-knacks. There’s also a private ‘snug room’ complete with a stunning skylight and antique furnishings gleaned from vintage markets. By contrast the food is ‘dirty diner’ stuff – think ribs, wings, fancy burgers, sharing plates, hot dogs, foot-wide pizzas and crinkle-cut cheesy fries. With DJs spinning the decks and busy bartenders crafting interesting drinks such as Key Lime Pie Martini or homemade basil lemonade with Tequila and jalapeño, the vibe quickly ramps up into party mode at weekends. Quiz nights on Mondays.
