Gray’s Inn’s secluded and peaceful five-acre garden is once again gearing up for its annual summertime pop-up, complete with a specially erected marquee for sunny, seasonal lunches every weekday
from 24 June to 24 July 2014. This year’s menu will have a Mediterranean theme, so expect the likes of grilled chorizo and white bean salad with mint yoghurt dressing followed by chicken, pea and
smoked pancetta risotto or grilled salmon with warm tossed niçoise vegetables and a free-range egg. For afters, true-Brit desserts such as fresh strawberries with whipped vanilla cream are bound to
go down well with punters making the most of the warm weather. Booking in advance is strongly advised – particularly as one person dines for free if you’re in a party of 10.
