Behind its well-kept, if unexceptional exterior, this high-street pub has a comfortable wooden bar with ample space for diners & drinkers. However, it’s the garden (with attractive decked area
& leafy space beyond) that makes The Bridge special. Given the proximity to Hammersmith Bridge, it’s an ideal meeting place for both business & pleasure. Drink real ale, or something from
the lengthy wine list, & while away an evening. The food is also worth a look. From posh salads (pear, Gorgonzola & caramelised walnuts) to an over-generous goats’ cheese & beautifully
cooked wild mushroom bruschetta, there’s no shortage of delicate dishes, but hearty appetites are sated with the likes of gammon & eggs, fresh pappardelle & smoked barbecue ribs. A £10
two-course lunch only adds to the appeal.
