The Brayford View Restaurant certainly lives up to its name. This light and airy restaurant offers a stunning floor-to-ceiling view of the Brayford Waterfront, England’s oldest inland harbour. Situated in the Holiday Inn Lincoln a mere 5 minutes' walk from Lincoln Rail Station, this is the ideal place for relaxing after a long day of working, shopping or sightseeing.
The restaurant is situated on the second floor of the hotel, directly above the Brayford View bar. A palette of delightfully muted purples and beiges awaits diners, with white walls emphasising the airy feel of the space and houseplants adding some pops of colour.
Brunch is the most important meal of the day, and The Brayford View Restaurant’s brunch menu ensures you’ll be well-catered to. All the classics are here: eggs on toast, porridge, crunchy granola, brioche buns- and everything is available with a poached or fried egg for a very reasonable price.
The hearty menu serves up a range of classic dishes from around the world. Kick things off with a classic soup of the day with crusty bread and butter, or there’s also baked camembert, sticky Louisiana chicken wings, quinoa and bean filled peppers, and even a Middle Eastern deli board.
Mains are divided into pizza, pasta, seasonal salads, everyone’s favourites, burgers, and grills, giving you a plethora of options to choose from. Standout options include the pea and mint tortellini, chicken murgh makhani, butternut squash and mixed vegetable Wellington, and the mixed grill featuring lamb chop, Cumberland sausage, gammon, 4oz rump steak and peas. Plant-based eaters needn’t fear as there’s a wide range of vegetarian and vegan options to choose from.
Don’t forget about drinks. Here you can choose from all the old favourites, enjoyed while watching live sports which are shown throughout the day.
