The brasserie is an independent restaurant located inside Wivenhoe House on the outskirts of Colchester and close to the pretty village of Wivenhoe. Our restaurant is inspired by the concept of a classic brasserie, bring a little taste of France to the Essex countryside. The extensive menus offer a wide-ranging choice. Our menus change frequently to make the most of fresh local produce. Our Plat du Jour will ensure each experience of the brasserie is as unique and exciting as the last. We also have an express ‘Plat Rapide’ lunchtime menu for those whose time is limited. Our Sunday lunch menu features with pride our award-winning ‘Best Roast Dinner’ selection. Fish Friday is on the first Friday of every month and has built up an enviable reputation in the local area, be sure to book in advance to ensure a space at these sell out events. We have a special children’s menu designed to offer the same quality food as all of our menus.
