An independent presence on otherwise chain-heavy Jubilee Square, this wine shop-cum-bar does a nice line in organic & natural tipples with eclectic platters & sandwiches to match. Set up by wholesaler Ten Green Bottles, the shop centres around a large communal farmhouse table where guests can choose from 10 wines by the glass or purchase any of 200-plus bottles (with a £5 corkage fee). It's a refreshingly straightforward concept that allows punters to choose from a huge selection of wines imported directly from boutique vineyards in France, Spain & Italy – without the painful mark-ups slapped on by most other places. Ibérico ham & chorizo from local importer the Spanish Food Company make regular appearances on the menu's sharing platters; otherwise, investigate crunchy crostinis topped with aubergine caviar, or Sussex tomatoes with basil & mozzarella.
