Tan Hill Inn

We were so much looking forward to a meal out at this special place, the journey there was spectacular and when we arrived early we still were shown to our table and were ordering very soon after that, all was going well up to this point unfortunately our order was lost somewhere along the line and over an hour and a half later we still hadn't received our meals. The staff kept telling us we were next on the list but still we waited, eventually after a long long wait our meals came and were very good even the desert was also gone missing which we finally got. If we hadn't had some very nice people to talk to on the next table it might have come to walking out! The manager did reduce our bill by 50% mains only so that eased the disappointment a bit, otherwise the food was good and the venue and journey was excellent.
