Despite being a huge chain with branches all over the city, Spaghetti house feels as if you are dining in a small family run restaurant in Italy. Focusing on good quality authentic food with a modern spin, its homey décor and delicious menu will make you feel right at home. If it’s a nice day the outdoor café style seating will transport you to a quiet Italian square while you enjoy an Aperol spritz and a pizza.
This mouth-watering selection of food will have you satisfied from start to finish (that is if you can make it to dessert of course). Start with a minestrone soup – we promise this isn’t your typical out of the tin stuff. For mains you’ll find your usual suspects of pizza, pasta and more pizza, but if they aren’t your cup of tea its scaloppa di vitello or pollo alla Milanese will fill the spot perfectly.
If you are bringing the kids along (we recommend you do) the ‘bambini’ menu is filled with mini versions of the main. Expect dough balls and pizzetta margherita with gelato to finish, of course. This kid friendly restaurant is the ideal place to keep them occupied while you enjoy dinner (and a glass of Italian wine) in peace.
If you are all carbed out, get the panna cotta or coppa fragola for dessert. All the sweetness without the heaviness, so you won’t have to miss out on the most important part of dinner (because in our eyes dessert is definitely the most important) you can even go for an affogato if you want a little caffeine kick with your gelato.
Although small, this restaurant is filled with charm, character and atmosphere. So whether you are visiting for a quiet date or a family dinner you’ll fit right in at this Spaghetti House.
