A cross between a bonkers old biddy’s front room and a set for a CBeebies show decorated courtesy of Steptoe & Son’s yard, this bijou bar has had a bit of a tweak, with vintage games consoles for generation SEGA and iPod docks in the downstairs disco den/playpit now part of the madcap mix. Open from mid-afternoon until at least midnight, it's a daft, dinky dive for King’s Cross casuals, with fair cocktails served in granny’s china teacups – or in teapots to share – adding to its kooky appeal. Try French martini, Long Island iced tea and white Russian or get in the pink with ‘jamble’ (gin, Chambord, raspberry jam and cranberry juice) – all at two for £10 (5-9pm weekdays). Come the weekend, DJs spin appropriately mashed-up tracks until 2am. There are plans to serve some food in the near future.
