This bustling, family-run beach café serves up delicious diner food just a short walk from Crooklet’s surfing beach near Bude.
Whether you're catching a few of Devon's famous waves on a surfboard or building sandcastles, being at the beach is hungry work and Rosie's serves up a wide range of satisfying diner dishes all-day, everyday. There are big, filling cooked breakfasts, toasted sandwiches, jacket potatoes, burgers, hot dogs, sourdough pizzas and loaded chips with toppings like pulled pork and veggie chilli. All the food at Rosie's is cooked fresh to order, and uses local West Country produce when possible. The menu has plenty of choice for those with dietaries too, and the team are more than happy to cater to any special diets, including gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan and more.
As well as the main restaurant, Rosie's also boasts an enclosed sundeck that keeps the wind out, but lets the sun in - it's the perfect place to gaze over the Atlantic Ocean whilst you enjoy a spot of lunch or a drink. Plus, there's an enclosed outdoor play area where you can keep an eye on your little ones.
Speaking of drinks, food isn't the only thing going at Rosie's - the bar is fully stocked with prosecco, wine, local beers and ciders, as well as a selection of Cornish gins and rums. On top of that, there's great local coffee, fresh smoothies, milkshakes, hot chocolate, juices and other soft drinks.
The beach in summer wouldn't be the same without a good ice cream, and Rosie's serves 21 different flavours of Marshfield Ice Cream - an award-winning British ice cream maker. With vegan and gluten-free versions available, ice cream is on offer for everyone - there's even a dog-friendly one for your pooch.
