Rendezvous is a multi-level venue which offers a selection of dining and drinking facilities in one. Situated in a large, period building, it looks out to the pier, offering waterside views which are complimented with a large outdoor seating area.
On the ground floor guests will find the venue’s namesake, which acts as an informal dining option and pub with screens to watch sport and plenty of room for families. The décor is low-key with a few shabby-chic design features such as wood panelled walls and upcycled industrial furniture. The menu is huge and offers a wide selection of dishes inspired by global locations. If you’re only in the mood for a bite, you could try the pulled shawarma chicken tacos, nachos or halloumi skewers. For mains there’s an array of sourdough pizzas, burgers, wraps and large plates such as butternut squash and cranberry tagine or scampi and chips.
On the lower ground floor, Rendezvous have created what they call a ‘man cave’, known as The Anchor. There, you’ll find a pool table, electronic darts, fruit machines and a juke box, as well as multiple HD screens showcasing live sport all day.
The top floor is home to DAO; a club and party venue with VIP booking available and opening hours up to 4am. If you fancy getting in the party mood with friends in the daylight hours, though, you could consider booking onto the venue’s bottomless brunch. Running every Saturday and Sunday until 1pm, diners can enjoy two hours of refillable alcoholic drinks with a choice of espresso martinis, Aperol spritz and prosecco, among others.
