Pucelli's prime position right next to Padstow's harbour means that the whole restaurant has stunning views of the Camel Estuary and beyond. The inside of the restaurant feels both contemporary and typically Italian with its black and white tiled floor contrasting with the dark green colour scheme. Wooden tables are spread out around the dining room and bi-folding windows allow plenty of light to flood in. These can also be opened right up to create an open-air feel and allow diners to breathe in some of the sea air.
In terms of the food at Pucelli's, the menu covers a lot of ground and begins with various antipasti such as calamari with fresh aioli, wild mushroom bruschetta, and lobster, prawn and crab tortelli dressed in garlic butter. Larger dishes range from a house burger with chips and onion rings to fillet of sea bass on a bed of sauteed potatoes with tomatoes, garlic, and chorizo. On top of this there's also a number of pizzas and pasta dishes to choose from, as well as classic desserts including tiramisu to finish, if you have room.
A number of wines from Italy and further afield can be ordered by the glass or bottle, while beers, cocktails and classic Italian liqueurs such as limoncello are also on offer.
