Prix Fixe

I have dined at Prix Fixe a few times now and I am always amazed by the quality this little restaurant offers, from the quality of the food to the quality of the staff. It pains me to write this review as people may see this and find this great little place (it is worth it though!).

Courtesy of the current set menu offer on Time Out, we tried Prix Fixe for a pre-theatre jaunt, and overall the experience was very good.  A very buzzy and welcoming environment, definitely aided by the ever smiling and helpful staff who work their absolute socks off.  The set menu was perhaps more European which was a bit of a shame given the traditional bistro setting, but the prices are such that even without an offer, I am likely to return to try the a la carte. Our starters of steamed mussels and cod fishcakes undoubtedly the better of the two courses we chose but for £25 including a glass of Prosecco each, how can you go wrong.....
