Poke House encourages you to come stop by if you want to taste Hawai'i and experience California-- or if you just want a fresh and healthy bowl of protein and veggies.
The franchise is popular worldwide, boasting of locations everywhere from Alexandria to Valencia, but their newest London shop is located in the heart of Battersea. The decoration of their restaurants mimics the laid-back, California beach vibe and sound. Picture lots of pastels.
Their menu has build-your-own Poke bowl options, or you can pick one of their specialty bowls and modify it to your taste. It's a simple task: pick your size, then your two bases (IE rice, noodles...), top it with some greens and proteins, then add some dressing and crispy toppings.
If poke isn't to your taste, they also have acai bowls, avocado toast, or small bowls of fruit. Grab a drink to go along with it-- they have a selection of smoothies, coffees, and seltzers.
And of course, how could you miss dessert? Your poke is healthy enough!
Select one of their cookies, such as a milk chocolate chip. Or if you want something smaller, they have mochi, which are Japanese ice cream balls wrapped in a soft rice paste and come in flavours like mango cheesecake or matcha green tea. And after all, if you get the matcha flavour, it's healthy because it's green, right?
