Right beside the current Crouch Hill station, you'll find the ideal place to relax and unwind. Settle into one of the comfy sofas and you'll find yourself surrounding by calming soft colours and luscious greenery. There's nothing better than spending some quality time by yourself- Plan B provides a vast collection of books and some bright jazz and chilled out tunes to help you do that, right in the heart of the neighbourhood.
The menu here champions Mediterranean-style tapas, changing slightly throughout the year to accomodate new and exciting ingredients and seasonal flavours. If you fancy swinging by for a big breakfast you can take your pick from a range of classic breakfast options spanning the globe, including mortadella and eggs, chorizo and potatos, and avocado and eggs.
You won't be able to resist sticking around for the a la carte selection. Kick things off with some bread and dips, as well as Spanish style pan con tomate and cheese and meat boards. The entire menu is designed to be shared in typical Mediterranean fashion, so feel free to get experimental when ordering your tapas. When it comes to small plates. pumpkin croquetas with goats cheese, walnuts, red wine reduction and membrillo (quince cheese) are up for grabs, along with patas bravas and caprese salad. Slightly bigger plates see roasted aubergine with harissa and hummus, and braised short rib with date puree, while dessert tempts with a cheesecake mousse and white chocolate mocha brulee.
Gluten and meat-free diners needn't worry, the menu caters to all dietary requirements and friendly staff will be more than happy to amend some of the options.
