About

For over three decades, PJ’s Brasserie has stood as a prominent hub in Chelsea's vibrant social scene, providing a warm, inviting, yet refined dining experience within a gorgeous part of the city.

In order to make for the most happy dining experience for each guest, PJ’s Brasserie presents an array of meticulously crafted menus, each devoted to the essence of quality and seasonality. The kitchen team’s pride lies in forging strong partnerships with renowned sustainable suppliers who share their passion for exceptional British produce.

If you find yourself strolling through Chelsea on the weekend, then stop by for brunch. Try dishes of shakshuka with St Ewe eggs, spicy tomato sauce, spinach, artichokes and burrata, a dish named the crushed green - which consists of guacamole, cherry tomatoes, pickled radish and baby watercress on sourdough toast with sweet chilli dressing, or a sweet tooth's dream of triple stacked pancakes, smothered in strawberries, blueberries and blackberries, complete with strawberry compote and crème fraîche.

At dinnertime, start off with an aperitif of Chelsea Fizz, made with Eristoff vodka, Chambord liqueur, elderflower and fresh raspberries and champagne, before diving into a dish of PJ's classic steak tartare with tabasco mustard dressing, cornichons, shallots, parsley, a St Ewe’s egg yolk and sourdough crisps. To follow up, order the chicken milanese with truffle mayo, a fried egg, and wild rocket along with an artichoke and reggio cheese salad. Finish off with a lemon meringue posset, served with red berries and vanilla cookies.

We celebrated our civil ceremony at PJ'S. We had a table of 6. The service from the point of entry was courteous, attentive and friendly. We ordered throughout the day and pur server paid great attention to everyone's needs and especially my very energetic toddler. The food was fresh, fantastic and well served. We enjoyed our day and the experience.

Having read rather contrasting reviews of the food here, we thought we'd give PJ's a go with the current 50% off food offer. Service was good although the waitress seemed intent on mkaing us order more food and drink than we wanted! Most of the tables were occupied and the place had a good bustly vibe for a Saturday night (if you want a quieter seat, ask for a table towards the back). The food was a little hit and miss; a starter of scallops and pea puree was cooked perfectly as was the minute steak main which came with a mound of those irresistible matchstick fries. However, the sea bass, although generous, was rather thrown together and the skinless side raw and inedible. If you have room for dessert, try the ice-cream; there's a decent selection of flavours and those that we had (cinammon, chocolate and vanilla) were very good. I would eat there again but only if I was in the area.

Had a lovely meal at PJs last night. Great atmosphere. The food was delicious, good sized portions, efficient and attentive service. Will definitely go back next time we are in “town”.
