The 10th restaurant to add to burger chain Patty & Bun’s ever-growing portfolio is this one, on Portobello Road in Notting Hill. One of the main culprits behind the deification of dude food – and our expanding waistlines – this temple to burgers has enjoyed legions of fans (some of whom even wear its merchandise) since its beginnings as a pop-up.
The Portobello Road site offers 45 covers indoors, plus an extra 12 outdoors, and is located right in the centre of Notting Hill’s famous street market making it easy to get your P&B fix while you’re out browsing the local stools.
The menu features all the Patty & Bun classics, alongside vegan options and a rotating monthly special. Look out for favourites including the ‘Ari Gold’ cheeseburger featuring a beef patty with cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickled onions, ketchup, smoky P&B mayo, the Hot Chic chicken burger which sees marinated buttermilk fried chicken topped with coleslaw, pickled cucumbers, lettuce and smoked garlic aioli, and Lambshank Redemption starring a lamb patty buttermilk baby courgettes, pickled aubergine, cumin aioli and feta.
Find a range of indulgent sides to order alongside, from jerk wings to handcut double fried chips, while desserts appear in the form of epic ice cream sandwiches from none other than luxury ice cream specialists Happy Endings.
Patty’s recognised drinks menu includes cocktails and beers alongside happy hour specials, and if you’re feeling extra hungry, you can choose from either a double chocolate or vanilla malt milkshake. They’re not for the faint hearted!
Guests are also able to order items from Patty & Bun’s sister Roast Chicken & Sides brand ‘Sidechick’, available for delivery.
