Palm Court is the signature restaurant at the Grosvenor Pulford Hotel, and proudly serves a great selection of dishes in refined, beautiful surroundings. You'll find a pianist playing in the corner, see greenery and twinkling lights overhead, and sit back on plush seating.
Order a few small plates for the table, including crispy salt and pepper belly pork bites with mixed pepper, pickled chilli and spring onion, warm artisan bread with whipped sun blushed tomato and basil butter, and Korean fried cauliflower with toasted sesame and spicy gochujang sauce. There are a great number of mains to choose from, including a wild mushroom veloute with tarragon, creme fraiche and toasted focaccia, and crispy battered haddock with crushed peas and a homemade tartar sauce.
Other popular options include steak frites with skin on fries and garlic butter, and a superfood salad with rosemary-infused quinoa, edamame, charred avocado and roasted Brazil nuts served with crispy kale and a spicy lemon dressing. There are many delicious grill options to choose from, with selected steaks chosen from British and Welsh farms and aged for a minimum of 30 days. The sides are special, too, with choices of truffle and parmesan fries, charred tenderstem broccoli with fine beans and crispy shallots, and a classic Caesar salad.
We'd never skip dessert, not when there are options like those on the Palm Court menu. Try the orange and almond sponge with charred orange segments, basil gel and vanilla ice cream, the black forest delice with a dark chocolate sponge, kirsch and milk chocolate mousse, and a rhubarb and custard souffle served with a vanilla anglaise and rhubarb sorbet. There's a special section on the dessert menu dedicated to sundaes, including a sticky toffee option with sticky toffee pieces, salted caramel, fudge pieces, honeycomb ice cream and whipped vanilla cream.
