The owners of this family-run steakhouse know their beef and have good connections with suppliers in Argentina – so you can expect top-grade pampas-reared meat at this boutique venue by Leadenhall Market. Classic South American cuts take centre stage, but Omnino Steakhouse also procures supplies of prime US beef and Grade 5 Wagyu too – try a taste of all three by ordering the ‘rib-eye sampler’. The menu stays in the Latin regions for starters of empanadas, swordfish ceviche and sweetbreads with chimichurri – although you can also find a few Spanish-influenced ideas (morcilla with quail’s egg and romero pepper, for example). Additional ‘specialities’ also have international favour, taking in everything from New York chicken with gnocchi to loin of Ibérico pork or rack of New Zealand lamb with sweet potato mash. World beers, cocktails and beefy wines are the drinks of choice.
