Following on from its debut restaurant in Islington, the team behind pasta restaurant Noci (meaning walnut in Italian) has opened a second site at Battersea Power Station. This south west London site offers the same focus on fresh, handmade pasta dishes made with seasonal ingredients, alongside Sicilian street food-inspired snacks and cocktails on tap.
You can find it inside Turbine Hall B of the iconic landmark, by the lifts and escalators at the North Entrance.
Examples of small plates you might expect to find on the menu include house focaccia with Datterini tomato and red onion, crispy fried mussels with shaved fennel and cucumber salad and yogurt dressing, and burrata with endive, wild puffed rice and balsamic vinegar.
While pasta dishes include its signature silk handkerchiefs with beef and marsala jus, confit egg yolk, guanciale and sage crisp, as well as veal and pork Genovese ragu with Monk’s Head cheese and chunky paccheri pasta.
Round all of that off with indulgent Italian desserts, such as a coffee and tequila cheesecake with amaretti, or a classic affogato.
As per its signature style, the interiors at Noci Battersea are cosy and stylish. A range of seating caters for every occasion, be it a cocktail or glass of prosecco at one of its bar stools, or a relaxing dinner with friends around an intimate table. There's a beautiful backlit bar that showcases Italian wine bottles and spirits, while exposed piping on the ceiling creates a raw, industrial aesthetic.
When it comes to the drinks, there is a selection of cocktails on tap as well as seasonal spritz' to choose from. Inventive flavours include yuzu and rhubarb, lemon and elderflower and a Tommy’s Margarita. Or, choose something off the Italian wine list to pair with your meal.
