SM Exclusive: First-look pictures of Duende, opening in Covent Garden on Friday

We're on tapa the world today with these exclusive first-look pictures of Duende, the Spanish tapas restaurant from Victor Garvey opening in Covent Garden this Friday.
We're a big fan of Bravas Tapas here (purveyor of sophisticated Spanish food in chain-heavy St Katharine Docks), so the news that co-founder Victor Garvey is going it alone on Maiden Lane is happy indeed.
We’re told to expect a modern Spanish tapas restaurant, with a menu including cured salmon rulada with red onion escabeche and wasabi alioli, and foie gras crema Catalana. There will also be Ibérico pork belly in a piquillo pepper glaze as well as an all-Spanish wine list, all available by the glass and bottle.
If Bravas Tapas is anything to go by, expect deft execution from the kitchen team too.
