Luxford Burgers was established in October 2020 by Alex Galpin and Jake Payne with a mission to provide the City of Edinburgh with gourmet, real burgers. Using fresh, local produce from some great suppliers, we created our menu, and evolved the concept of the ‘dark kitchen’, taking the face of a custom-built converted shipping container, situated in the heart of Leith, where we got to work.
After two months, we partnered with Fierce Beer and joined their team in the Edinburgh bar to supply our burgers to the masses, and worked tirelessly to mix-and-match Fierce beers to refine and perfect our products such as Beer-Candied Bacon Bits and Kentish Rarebit.
