Set atop a grassy slope which overlooks the sea, Life's a Beach boasts a large decked terrace area where you can sit either with a drink or a plate of grub during the summer and watch the surfers down below. Inside wooden tables are spread out around the colourful, contemporary space, which features bright blue tiles on the wall and a light fitting in the shape of the initials 'LAB'.
Head down to Life's a Beach first thing to fill up on a hearty full English breakfast before a day spent surfing, or simply pop-in for a morning coffee. From midday, the all-day menu kicks in, which includes everything from salt and pepper squid and fish and chips with all the trimmings to a range of tasty burgers. Lighter bites include baguettes, while there are also various child-friendly dishes available such as chicken nuggets and fries and whole tail scampi.
