Global kebab chain Kebhouze has opened its first UK site with this London restaurant on Oxford Street. At the time of writing, it already boasts 24 sites across Italy and Spain, with this particular venture ranking officially as the largest kebab house in Britain. The three-story site goes way beyond your standard kebab shop, and is designed to offer diners an immersive experience, complete with arcade games, table football and kebab-inspired street art, including a 7-metre-long installation by British artist Philip Colbert.
The chain was originally founded in 2021 by Italian entrepreneur and Instagram star Gianluca Vacchi, who boasts a whopping 22.5 million followers. We'd argue he’s done pretty well for himself, having launched 25 sites across three countries in just over two years.
The menu reads as an ode to the kebab, with four distinct options to choose from. Diners can tuck into everything from traditional wraps to kebab burgers filled with chicken, veal, turkey, beef and ‘Planted’, Kebhouze’s very own plant-based protein. Elsewhere, ‘Kebowls’ feature, which include your choice of meat with rice or salad. There are desserts too, including Nutella sandwiches and pancakes.
Prices have yet to be revealed, but it’s expected to offer reasonably priced fare, considering its central location.
General manager Oliver Zon commented: ‘Our three floor store on Oxford Street is one of a kind; an immersive kebab house packed with entertainment for all ages. Our mission is to ensure Londoners can enjoy kebab in an entertaining and fun setting – all while keeping costs low and quality high.’
