Once upon a time, the K West Hotel was a swanky slice of modernity in an area filled with fabric shops & halal butchers. The arrival of the Westfield shopping complex has changed all that, but the K Lounge still maintains some of the glitz that once pulled in stars from the nearby BBC headquarters. Cocktails cost more than at your average Shepherd’s Bush watering-hole, but in return, you’ll get quality spirits shaken up into some funky concoctions. In the evening, a bar menu peddles sharing dishes such as vegetarian spring rolls & seared prawns with a herb sauce, alongside a heartier line-up of burgers & club sandwiches. Head here on a Friday or Saturday night, & kick back as the DJ spins tunes into the early hours.
