Hula was first established in 2007 when it was just a juice bar, but today, it has evolved into much more. The space now delivers guests a healthy, authentic and fresh food offering alongside delicious drinks, so that you can nourish your body whilst enjoying the dynamic flavours of Hula.
One of the best dishes on Hula's breakfast menu are the organic Scottish oats made with almond milk. Your choice of toppings include caramelised apples with blueberry, granola, maple syrup and cinnamon, along with fresh strawberries with caramel sauce, granola and mango puree. Eggs Benedict are served on toast with hollandaise and paprika, and your choice of bacon and mushrooms, Scottish haggis and smoked salmon. Tropical smoothie bowls are made with a frozen base of mango, peach, pineapple, ashwagandha, banana, lime, vanilla and coconut milk, and toppings of granola, strawberry, blueberries, orange, caramel sauce and mango puree. The pancakes are a chocoholics dream, stacked with Nutella, chocolate sauce, hazelnuts and dried raspberries.
For lunch, order the pink lady juice made with apple, ginger, lemon and lime, along with a poke bowl with cucumber edamame beans, radish, sesame slaw, pickled onion, smoked salmon, togarashi spice and lime served on chilled rice with a sesame and garlic dressing. Full of flavour, chicken is marinated in house made pesto sauce and cherry tomatoes before being stuffed inside a fresh sandwich, with other options of grilled halloumi, sriracha chicken and vegan falafel. The smoked salmon and avocado tartare is made with capers and dill, mixed with lemon juice and the house poke dressing in a base of sourdough bread, and sounds utterly divine. Each week, there is a Hula salad special, so who knows what you'll find when you step inside!
