Huckleberry's is located just off of the high street in Lincoln's city centre, and serves its dishes with pride, along with smoke, spice and plenty of passion. The kitchen team proudly sources the finest brisket and Boston butt pulled pork which is rubbed in the restaurant's very own seasoning. All of your meat at Huckleberry's is prepared just how it is in Texas, Memphis and Kansas City, being cooked in the smoker before being smothered in delicious sauce. Even the bread rolls are made especially for Huckleberry’s, and are freshly prepared. Because of the way in which the food is prepared, everything is served in a first come, first serve format, and you’ll want to get down there quick to avoid disappointment.
Begin your meal with Texas toast, which is rubbed with garlic and topped with spicy mex cheese, the chicken wings that have been soaked in buttermilk and finished in corn dust and sauce, or the loaded nachos. Half baby back mopped ribs and mac and cheese are also on the menu, along with the mac balls which are a real hit at Huckleberry's. Boston beans are classically cooked over four hours to be smokey, and are layered with bacon and cheese.
You begin your main by choosing whether you want fries and slaw, or would prefer the cajun version. Then, you add as much meat as you'd like. You'll be spoilt for choice with a 32 hour Lincolnshire red brisket, 24 hour Boston butt pulled pork, chicken skewers, wings, tortillas and ribs. Then there are the burgers, Hucks classic with bacon and Monterey Jack cheese, the filthy cow with onion straws, cheese and BBQ Jack sauce, and the real Big Mac with dirty mac, cheese and bacon. There is a delicious veggie burger on the menu too, and a few with chicken and pork options.
