Heavenly Desserts, which was founded in 2008 by Mohammad Imran and Yousif Aslam, has exploded in popularity, both in and outside of the UK. Offering a huge range of luxury desserts and drinks, the chain has become a family favourite, as well as a great place to catch up over a sweet treat. Peterborough residents have grown to love Heavenly Desserts, thanks to its attention to detail and welcoming service. The interiors are cosy, yet elegant, with plush seats, marble pattern tables and plenty of plants. The large ice cream counter takes pride of place, housing an impressive selection of flavours.
Those new to the menu should try one of the signature creations. These decadent dishes are playfully named, with options including the ‘I’ll have what she’s having’ American waffle, white kiss crepe, ‘once last time I promise’ Belgian waffle and the ‘sinful! But oh so heavenly’ waffle too. Lovers of Japanese desserts, meanwhile, can choose from a selection of mochi, including honey-roasted pistachio and salted caramel. Elsewhere, you’ll find more familiar dishes such as cheesecake, tarte au citron, tiramisu and profiteroles.
Don’t miss out on the extravagant sundaes, with entries such as cookie crunch, Lotus Biscoff and strawberry surprise. Fondues are also available here, perfect for sharing between couples or dates. Those who want to take control of their own dessert can build their own. First, choose a base (such as a waffle, pancakes, crepe or brownies), then top with the likes of maple syrup, toffee fudge sauce, chocolate, Ferrero Rocher and pretty much anything else you can think of.
As one might expect, drinks at Heavenly Desserts follow a similar vein of decadence. Milkshakes are particularly lavish here, featuring flavours like white heaven, mint chocolate chip and chai. Smoothies, tea, coffee, juice and soft drinks are also available.
