This cosy inn is found in the popular fishing town of Padstow, home to celebrity chef Rick Stein’s clutch of restaurants. If you don’t fancy the eye-watering prices of Stein’s The Seafood Restaurant however, there are plenty of other options to choose from, including Harbour Inn.
Open every day of the week, Harbour Inn is a relaxed and traditional space, featuring comfy leather couches, original open fireplaces and a pool table too if you fancy a game with friends. Harbour Inn prides itself on delivering a menu of crowd-pleasing fare that will please everyone in the family, from the little ones all the way through to their grandparents.
Food is served from noon every day and while dining here, you can expect to tuck into the likes of hearty meat-filled pies which are made on site, as well as an assortment of fish and shellfish dishes which have been caught locally and make the most of Cornwall’s natural larder. Don’t forget to check out the daily changing specials boards either, in case one of those takes your fancy. On Sundays meanwhile, you can head to Harbour Inn for a traditional Sunday roast complete with all of the trimmings, while miniature roasts are available for children.
To help you wash down all of your food, Harbour Inn offers an extensive range of cask mark traditional beers, alongside your pick of local ciders and lager. For those who are driving or don’t fancy drinking, there is also a range of soft drinks as well as all of the usual tea and coffee varieties that you would expect.
Towards the back of the venue, there is a sheltered smoking area which is protected from the elements. Note that Harbour Inn is a walk-ins only restaurant operating on a first come first served basis.
