The third London location for US egg-based dining concept Eggslut (and the 12th site worldwide) finds its home in Shoreditch, having set up shop on bustling Leonard Street.
Although Eggslut is a casual dining concept, this is certainly not junk food. As with the other Eggslut UK locations, the brand has once again partnered with top-quality trusted suppliers to form the base of its menu - think Clarence Court eggs, rolls from Bread Ahead bakery and hot drinks courtesy of East London locals Nude Coffee Roasters.
All items on the Eggslut Shoreditch menu are cooked fresh to order, with signature items such as The Fairfax all present and correct: a brioche bun filled with soft scrambled eggs and cheese, which gets it names from the street in Los Angeles where the original eggslut food truck first parked up back in 2011. There are a few dishes that are exclusive to the UK locations too though, such as truffle and rosemary sea salt potato hash browns, while make sure to peruse the menu for seasonal specials and limited-time-only dishes too.
Eggslut Shoreditch opens daily for breakfast and lunch and is available to enjoy at home via the delivery platform Deliveroo. The restaurant welcomes walk-in diners and is the third Eggslut site in the capital, following the Notting Hill and Fitzrovia locations.
Speaking about the opening, Bruno Pires, Operations Manager at Eggslut, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to be opening our third UK site in Shoreditch. For us, it is a
dream come true to launch eggslut in this hotspot full of character and
creativity. We are looking forward to serving new egg lovers and bringing
eggslut closer to our fans all across London. We are really proud to be
pioneering the trend of the humble egg and will continue to bring our
gourmet concept to new areas of the UK.”
